Kaluach Kir can be used in many ways in the synagogue. For the sanctuary or beit midrash, where a static display is desired so as not to annoy those praying or studying, the screen only updates when information relevant to the tefillah has changed - based on changes in the Hebrew date or pertinent zmanim (halachic times).
For the lobby or entrance of the synagogue, additional screens can be added for special events or semachot.
Kaluach Kir runs on any standard Windows computer (XP or higher) and can be used with any size computer display that you want - a wide screen is recommended to allow the most flexibility. The computer and screen can be built into the synagogue's furnishings.
